  1. Book From Saratoga to Sibambe
    Historical Context - Narrative

The reference work contains the History of the South Train, executed in the
Presidency of Gabriel García Moreno during the years 1872 to 1875, where he
recounts the important contribution of the American engineers of the Institute
Rensselaer Polytechnic of the city of Troy in New York, which is
supported by the authors during 9 years of research both inside and outside
    from the country.

The history of the train is highlighted in its beginnings from the moment of its
hiring until the opening of the first section from Yaguachi to
Sibambe, supported by the narrative of different historians of the years 1925
to 1950, of which a distinction is made to them for the importance
that is given to the work of the train in the presidency of García Moreno.
The authors seek to give a personal vision to the subject, exalting García Moreno
from its different perspectives both locally and internationally, which was
possible thanks through the contribution of Mr. John Sanbrailo president of the
Pan American Development Foundation based in Washington - USA and
Peter Henderson Professor at the University of Winona - USA student of
    the history of García Moreno.
This also highlights the personal and family experiences of the authors
highlighting the contribution of the different local entities such as the Library
Municipal de Guayaquil, The Sagrario Church, the Institute of the Navy of
Ecuador, New York City Libraries, Saratoga Springs in the US, Greenridge cemetery Karol Waldring.
