Today in history, 1986,Tony Webb wins the 3rd NBA dunk contest. OK, you know him better as Spud. I have to go with Spud Webb today, one for the little guy, since we are about the same height, considering the closest I came to dunking was a tennis ball. So I know what it entails and give great credit.
Webb would beat Dominique Wilkins, one of the NBA's all-time greatest Dunkers, better known as the, human highlight reel." Wilkins had bested Jordan the previous year and was the heavy favorite to win. However it wasn't his night and the 5'7" Webb prevailed with several stylish dunks, including a 360.
